JinxBlandford & Sturminster Newton

Jinx is a gorgeous tabby and white boy, he’s 11 years old and he really didn’t love being in one of our pens, having hidden away for the first few weeks. Luckily last week (11/11) we were able to move Jinx to an indoor fosterer and the difference in his demeanour was amazing, within 6 hrs he was sitting on the settee and enjoying being stroked. Although during the daylight hours he was a little unsure, as it went dark he was a completely different cat. Now 5 days on (16/11) he is getting more confident with each passing day; he is out and about much more during the day and is a real sweetheart. His new fosterer says he has a really loud purr when he is sitting with them, he has shown his true colours now so we are confident he will be quite a companion once in his new forever home.

Jinx came to us when his owner moved and the situation wasn’t suitable for him. He is used to being outside a lot and is a bit of a hunter, so needs a garden and a safe location. He came from a busy home with another cat and a dog and, although he seemed not to mind them, we feel he may prefer a home where he is the only pet and have your undivided attention he may even not want to be out quite so much.
