Cats Protection’s ‘Libby left behind’ Christmas animation is based on a true story

Freezing cold and starving hungry, little kitten Libby spent two whole weeks last winter lost in the countryside. She had been abandoned with her four siblings down a quiet lane in Fareham, but had somehow become separated from her littermates and injured her little nose.

Kittens found close to death in a greenhouse

Two kittens are lucky to be alive after they were rescued from a greenhouse in Southampton by Cats Protection volunteers. The litter had been abandoned at just a few hours old and sadly, one of the kittens had already died when the volunteers arrived, leaving them very concerned about the remaining two.

New homes for hotel kittens

Cats Protection has found new homes for some unwanted hotel guests – a mother cat and her eight kittens. The charity’s Fareham & Waterlooville Districts Branch in Hampshire, England, was called out to a hotel in July to catch the stray cat and her kittens, who were living in the eaves.
