
When Tosha the cat went missing in Crawley, West Sussex in 2007, his owners feared the worst. Natasha and David Lewington had left their beloved moggy in the care of a family friend in Maidenbower while they were working overseas, but when they returned home he was nowhere to be seen.

Desmond the tabby cat is ready to spend Christmas at home in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, after spending three months as a stray in North Devon. The seven-year-old moggy was on holiday with his owners Jim and Mary Hall when he went missing in September.

Bolt first arrived at the Aberystwyth & District Branch of Cats Protection in June after being found as a stray. Although he was being regularly fed by a local resident, he appeared sodden from rain and bedraggled.
