
Last month a lady called Sian posted a heart-breaking note on our national Facebook page about her mum’s cat, Pepper who had fallen into an open water butt and drowned.

Angel came into our care after her owner had to move away for work and couldn’t take her with her. A vet check showed she was healthy but she didn’t like being stroked for long and would suddenly lash out when she was feeling anxious.

Toby was a very special cat that came to us in early February 2016 after his owner passed away. He had an inoperable tumour on his face and it was confirmed by the vet that although nothing could be done for Toby he was not in any pain or suffering.

Poor Dougal came into the care of Bracknell & Wokingham Districts Branch after his owner died. He had faeces in his fur and was and infested with fleas, needed 12 teeth removing, and one of his claws had grown so long it had pierced his footpad, becoming infected and bleeding.

We've been sent this lovely update about elderly tabby cat Barney who was adopted from our Caterham, Redhill & East Surrey Branch last year at the ripe old age of 20.

Beautiful Fusa arrived at the Newbury & District Adoption Centre as a stray with cat flu symptoms and a very obvious head tilt. She had a serious ear infection which was affecting her balance, causing nausea.
