We would like to assess your cats’ needs to be able to signpost you for support to local animal charities or determine whether Cats Protection Bolton and Radcliffe Branch would be able to help.
Please could you answer a few questions which will enable us to make an assessment? Once we have received this information, we will give you a call to discuss the support locally available.
Please send us an email at neutering@bolton.cats.org.uk with the following information (please copy the questions into the body of your email).
1.What is your name?
2.What is your full address, including postcode?
3.What is your contact telephone number?
4.What is your email address?
5.Are you in receipt of any benefits, and if yes, which one(s)?
6.Are you a full-time student living away from home?
7.Are you able to provide evidence of benefits, income, student status?
Please answer these questions for each cat which needs to be neutered :
8. What is the name of your cat?
9. How old is your cat?
10. Is your cat male or female?
11. Does your cat have a pedigree?
12. What is the origin of your cat (adopted from CP, bought privately etc)?
13. How many cats are there in your home?
14. How many, including the cat(s) you are applying for, have not been neutered?
15. Are any of your cat(s) currently pregnant or nursing kittens?
16. Are you able to transport your cat(s) to the vet?
17. Do you give your consent for us to share your contact details with a vet able to offer neutering appointments?
We advise any cat or kitten which is not yet neutered should not go outside to avoid meeting other cats which have not been neutered yet due to the risk of pregnancy, roaming, fighting injuries and disease.
We never ask a vet to put a healthy cat to sleep.
