  Branch Coordinators Report
 Spring 2021

It looks as though we have turned a corner with dealing with the Covid-19 virus, and things are looking a lot more
positive for this year. I am sure you, like me, cannot wait to be able to get back to going outside, visiting friends
and family, and to be able to have some sort of nomality back in our lives.

We ended 2020 with some great adoptions in time for Christmas, so thank you to all those involved in getting the
virtual home visits completed and the adoption paperwork and delivery through our Hands-Free Homing initiative
all done so quickly. We were able to help new adopters welcome their feline friends to share a quite different
Christmas holiday.

We have also been able to welcome some new volunteers recently with a new fosterer, Paul, and a new volunteer,
Vesna, to help us collect the donated food form local supermarkets - welcome to the team!

Last year was indeed challenging for our Branch for many reasons, but I must thank all our supporters ongoing
generosity for making sure that we could continue to help the cats and kittens in need in our area. Our Christmas
raffle rasied a record-breaking amount, so thank you to all of you that bought tickets, and thanks to everyone that
donated prizes for us, including local supermarkets and businesses.

For 2021 we are hoping that we will be able to increase the number of cats and kittens that we are able to find new
homes for, and to continue to support more owners financially with getting their cats neutered to help stop an increase
of unwanted kittens. Currently we are not sure of the situation with fundraising events, as a lot of the summer events
that we may have attended have already been cancelled for this year. I know how much many of you have missed
being able to come to our fundraising fairs in Carnation Hall in Winkfield, and currently we are not sure when we will
be able to hold the next one. We will let you know as soon as we get the go ahead to arrange something and look
forward to welcoming you all back.  I am sure you have missed Angela and Janey's beautiful cakes, so let us hope
you can spoil yourselves again very soon.

So again, thank you for all your continued support.
