2nd Vaccination Information
All of our cats and Kittens are given their 1st Vaccination whilst in our care. The 2nd Vaccination is due 3 weeks from this date.
If an adult cat is homed and has not had their 2nd vaccination then this responsibility falls to the new adopter.
: As kittens are only reserved for a maximum of 1 week, their vaccination will still be due when they are adopted, therefore the extra cost of the 2nd vaccination is the responsibility of the new adopter.
Cat’s protection will still pay for the 2nd Vaccination if taken to our vets (The Oaks veterinary Clinic, Lordswood) but a consultation fee of £19.50 will be charged by the vets.
If you wish to take the cat / kitten to your own vet then you will need to check that the vaccination they use is compatible to the vaccinations we use here at CP. We use Pure Vax
which covers Feline Infectious Enteritis (Fle), Feline Calcivirus (FCV), Feline Rhinotrracheitis and Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV).
We will let you know prior to you adopting your cat or kitten if this applies or if they have already had their 2nd Vaccination.
