Photography competition launched

May is National Photography Month and to celebrate, Cats Protection Brighton & District is running a photography competition for all you amateur cat snappers out there. We are delighted that Guy Wah the Brighton Cat Snapper will be one of our judges along with Lucy Clifford of Moggy Meows Cat Sitting & Cat Feeding Service and Kevin Smith, our very own volunteer photo and video volunteer.

If you want inspiration on how to take the best possible pictures of your cat, check out Kevin’s tips in this article: How to take better cat photos in lockdown

We like cats to be cats so no cats in hats or any other articles of clothing please, also no cats decorated with tinsel, fairy lights or similar or pictured eating unsuitable (or human) foods.

The competition will close on midnight 8 June. As this is an informal competition, there is no cost of entry. However, if you would like to help cats in Brighton & District, you can donate here: CP Brighton Just Giving Page To enter, please send your images to publicity@brighton.cats.org.uk and include the name of the featured cat/s, your name and email address.
