Siobhan Arthur has has signed herself up for the Weston-Super-Mare Christmas Cracker 10K run.
She has nominated to raise funds for teh Bristol and District branch of Cats Protection. Her fundraising page is http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SiobhanArthur
On her Virgin MoneyGivng page Siobhan says...
"8 weeks ago I couldn't walk for long distances or run at all due to problems with my back and legs and dodgy knees. Had suffered for years with a trapped nerve in my spine giving me so much pain and loss of feeling in my legs. I have recently been told also that I have arthritis in my lower back which I'm controlling with pain killers. 3 months ago I underwent a procedure to help with my trapped nerve.
With my legs feeling better finally! I joined a running club as I'd always loved running as a child. In 8 weeks I have gone from running 0 to 5k!
I've challenged myself to run my first ever 10k in December and would love your support by donating a few pennies to a charity close to my heart. The cats protection
