New Year New Volunteering Opportunity

01 January 2019

Do you have space in your garden for an outside pen to temporarily look after a cat in need? Canterbury Cats Protection are looking for a voluntary outdoor fosterer to help us look after cats while they await new homes.

Cat Fostering Volunteers provide daily hands-on cat care and we are looking for someone who has the outdoor space for a purpose-built cat cabin in your garden. The pen would be provided by the branch and we would pay for a concrete base to stand it on – you can see what it would look like in the photo.

All food, litter and vets bills are paid for by the Canterbury Cats protection so all you need to supply as a fosterer is the loving care and be able to supervise prospective owners as they will want to come and see the cat(s) or kitten(s) in your care.

If you live in the CT1-CT6 or ME13 and are interested in being an outdoor pen foster carer for us please contact welfare@canterbury.cats.org.uk or phone 01227 266838 to find out more.
