Fundraiser Beata runs marathon for Cats Protection

17 December 2016
Fundraiser Beata runs marathon for Cats Protection Local supporter and cat lover, Beata Kelbert, is raising funds for East Surrey Cats Protection by running the Brighton Marathon.

Having adopted a cat companion, Finci, from East Surrey branch a few years ago, Beata has been a very valued supporter.
"Those who have known me for a long time, it’s a well-known fact about me that I have loved pets and especially cats since my childhood. We have always had cats around our house, and when I moved to the UK, I met Finci. She was 8 weeks old and it was love for the first sight.

Cats Protection-East Surrey Branch has helped me a lot how to look after her well. Finci has become healthier and now her lives a complete life with the help of the community’s leaflets, brochures, proper care and sterilization guide."

How to support Beata

This will be Beata's second big run to raise funds for the branch. Earlier in 2016 Beata raised a fantastic £875 running her first 10K in the Vitality London 10000. Since then, Beata has caught the running bug and is challenging herself with an even bigger challenge.

Follow Beata's training progress and show your support for this mammoth achievement. You can donate online through Beata's JustGiving page.
