Barbara retires after 20 years caring for local cats

10 March 2020
Barbara retires after 20 years caring for local cats Some sad news for our branch... after many discussions our amazing Barbara has decided to retire from volunteering for cats Protection. This amazing lady has dedicated the last 20 years to us, fostering 1000’s of cats and kittens, looking after and feeding 100’s of ferals in our area, and if you never saw her bottom sticking out of bushes trying to find them then the police did once or twice 🤦‍♀️! Also, if you have ever homed a cat from us I’m sure you would of met her in the homing process.

Barbara was a key figure in our branch and will be very much missed. But now is the time for Barbara to concentrate on her health and well being and I’m sure we will still see her helping us on occasions.

We presented Barbara with a bronze (very heavy) cat figure last night as a small appreciation of our thanks and with a heavy heart I say a HUGE Thank You for all that she has done.
