Forth Valley spay or snip and chip campaign

Spay or snip and chip your cat from £5*

Black catCats Protection recommends that cats are spayed or snipped at around four months of age or younger. Once done, the cats live longer, healthier lives and it is the most humane way to stop unwanted pregnancies. Spaying or snipping also prevents some cancers, helps stop the spread of FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), reduces straying, fighting and spraying. Microchipping offers cats a safe method of identification so if they go missing they’re more likely to be reunited with you.

Spay or snip and chip your cat from £5

If you live in the FK1-FK21 postcode areas and are on low income or benefits, you can get them done from just £5.

If you are eligible, contact one of the vets below, who are participating in the scheme and make an appointment with them, quoting the Cats Protection £5 scheme. They will request to see proof of income or benefits either before or at the time of the neutering appointment. This is all done direct with the vet, you do not need to contact the centre to take part in the scheme.

A maximum voucher restriction applies to this campaign.

*You may be charged an extra £5 for microchipping.
