VinnyColwyn & District

Vinny was handed in to a veterinary practice as a stray with a lump on his head. The lump was removed with funding from the RSPCA and we were asked to help with rehoming him.

He came to us after surgery and his V shaped wound inspired his name! We ran a blood test and we found he is carrying FIV, meaning he will need to be an indoor only cat and either needs to live as the only cat or with other FIV cats. Find out more about FIV here:

Vinny is super duper friendly and can purr like a train! He loves to be on your shoulder or your lap and has so much love to give. He has great markings and his skin and coat are really improving since he came to us. He does have some saliva staining on his hind feet where he licks and this is likely to happen on and off but clinically his skin is doing well.

As he was a stray we don't know about his experience with children but he does like to have lots of attention and is a kneady boy! We also don't know if he has lived with dogs before but he appears to tolerate other neighbouring cats.
