Paul's Progress

A quick update on Paul's progress with his fundraising so far this month, with the London Marathon and Slieve Donard challenge trek already under his belt, his fundraising for the centre has already topped £400. Whilst in Northern Ireland to climb the nation's highest peak, Paul, together with his son Joe also managed to nab another couple of summits - Slieve Muck and Pigeon Rock. It was with great pleasure and appreciation that we today accepted a cheque for £3039.12 from our partnered Pets at Home store at Longwater, Costessey. The sum was raised from instore fundraising during 2019. It is a privilage being able to work alongside everyone at the store. Open Day Success!

Yesterday's Open Day here at the Adoption Centre proved to be a huge success. The sun shone on us, Georg Cushing's fairground organ provided the musical backdrop and everybody had great fun. In excess of £600 was taken to help towards the care of our cats. A even greater success was eight of our cats finding themselves a home. Pen y Fan Sponsored Hike

On the 28th September Laura and Paul are climbing to the summit of Pen y Fan, South Wales's highest mountain, to raise funds for our centre. George Freeman MP visits our Centre

It was a very genuine pleasure to welcome George Freeman MP to the Adoption Centre yesterday.Although the principle reason for George's visit was to discuss Cats Protection's new Purrfect Landlords campaign and to check out our new state of art facilities, he also found plenty of time to admire and cuddle our cats and to chat with the Centre staff.
