What we do
Our aim is to look after the welfare of cats and kittens in our area. As you can imagine that covers a lot of things, from the rescue of stray and unwanted cats and kittens, encouraging the neutering of all cats and kittens both domestic and feral, giving advice to cat owners and owners to be, rehoming cats and kittens of all ages and we also run a Lost and Found Register for the area.
How do we do it?
We don't have a shelter so we have to rely on a number of volunteer fosterers who have a dedicated room in their home or a pen in their garden to provide a temporary home for cats and kittens in our care.
We keep a list of cats who are not at present in our care (because there is no room at the inn) but who need new homes (these are our Home to Home cats)
We also supply neutering vouchers to help those on a low income. We are all volunteers and we always need more people to help us with our work which includes: fostering, transporting cats to new homes, home visits and our varied fund raising events which help to pay our vet bills and care for our homeless cats. So, as you can see, there's plenty to keep us all busy.
