Meet Seren! This cutie came into care because she wasn’t getting along with the other cat in her home. We have seen her transform from a worried girl whose life was turned upside down, to a confident cat who now comes to us for fuss with a lovely quiver of her half tail. Fear not, having half a tail doesn’t stop her from living a perfectly normal life and she is otherwise in great health. Seren is super affectionate and will have cuddles and lap snuggles. This sweet girl has been in Cats Protection’s care for quite a long time and has had a lot of change to her environment. This has caused her some anxiety and so understandably it takes her some time to settle and feel safe. This means that when Seren first comes home to you, she will sometimes forget her manners. She needs an experienced owner who will work with her and show her that she is safe, secure and loved. She needs someone who is patient, understanding and who can look past her current behaviour and see the sweetheart underneath. Despite her confidence, her new owners will need to give her time to adjust and not rush her while she takes in her new surroundings. Predictability is key. She would be a rewarding project for someone interested in cat behaviour. Seren is particularly comfortable with men, so having a male owner in the house would be ideal for her. She is a sweet girl who is chatty, and once she has built a bond with you she is very affectionate and loving. Seren has a brilliant character and is very entertaining! She is looking for an adult-only home with no other pets. She will need her new home to be away from busy roads, so that once she has settled in, she can explore outside safely. She just needs someone to take a chance on her. If you think you could give Seren the home she deserves, please enquire today!
