Information on Cat Adoption

Check out the Adopt a Cat section to see all the cats we currently have available.

Adopted a cat from us already?  Please leave us feedback HERE on your adoption experience.

We normally have cats in care that are still being vet-checked and prepared for re-homing so are not yet listed, so if you don't see what you are looking there are several things you can do:
First please fill out our adoption enquiry form.
Or give us a call on 01252 334 644 and leave a message
Or
email enquiries@farnham.cats.org.uk

If we think you may be a suitable match we will first check your location to make sure it is suitable and safe for the cat you are interested in. If approved, one of our Cat Match volunteers will get in touch for a chat, or in some cases to arrange a short home visit. For further information on Home Visits,
download our leaflet by clicking here

Once our checks are complete, you are then very welcome to visit the cat(s) that you are interested in. All our cats are cared for by volunteer foster carers in their own home, so may be located anywhere within the general Farnham/Aldershot/Alton/Bordon/Camberley area.

All our cats are vet checked and treated against parasites as appropriate in preparation for their new homes. They will also have been spayed or castrated unless already neutered or Kittens, who are too young to be neutered.  If you adopt an unneutered kitten you must agree to have the kitten neutered at the appropriate age – the charity can help towards this cost if appropriate. All cats and kittens aged 12 weeks and over will also be microchipped.

Cats Protection current rehoming fees are: £90 for cats, and £110 for kittens up to 6 months old. If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. It normally costs the branch a minimum of £150 to care for a cat and prepare it for adoption, so your generosity is much appreciated.

Thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat – our cats are waiting to hear from you!
