Name: Dexter

Location: Halifax, Huddersfield & Wakefield

Dexter is a friendly, fun 4 year old tuxedo boy with a soft chocolate brown/black and white coat and a slightly cheeky side!

He adores meal times and you never need to worry about if he’ll eat - he happily licks his bowl clean!

He likes company and being stroked in short bursts. He’s not a clingy cat and will happily do his own thing once he’s greeted you.

Dexter isn’t aloof though and he’s not demanding - he’s a cat who cares and wants to show his favourite humans he appreciates them - he just doesn’t always know how to conduct himself and can get a little over stimulated.

This just means he would do best in a fairly quiet, calm environment when he can keep you company and be stroked some of the time - and also play on his own and enjoy a kitty snooze some of the time too.

Dexter came to us after being neglected and was very underweight. We think sadly he’s had days when he’s felt very hungry as he can get a bit over excited with treats and will playfully bat the bag with his paw to try to get them to come out.

We’ve found this is easily managed but means we think he’s best suited to a home with adults and/or teenagers.

He would also enjoy access to a garden or safe outdoor space to stretch his legs once he’s settled in.
