All cats will be microchipped, vaccinated, and been neutered if an adult. If their second vaccination is outstanding by the time of adoption, this must be done at the same MK-based vet where they received their first vaccination. Please factor this in if applying from further afield. On the enquiry form, please tell us a bit about your family, your previous experience with cats (if any), and how you’d make a good match in the 'Other Comments' section - sell yourself! Applications without this will not be considered further. If you do not hear within 7 days, your application has not been successful.

Meet Storm – A Sweet Soul with a Spirited Side! Storm came into Cats Protection’s care when her owner moved out of their accommodation. She came into our care with another cat who has since been rehomed as they did not get along.

Storm is a stunning 9-year-old grey tabby with the prettiest stripes and a personality to match. Affectionate and people-loving, she’s happiest when she’s near her favourite humans—whether that’s curled up beside you for a nap or quietly keeping you company. Don’t let her age fool you—when she’s not snoozing, Storm loves to chase her tail and zoom around the house in playful bursts. She mostly enjoys dry food, with one pouch of wet food a day to keep things interesting. Storm is looking for a calm, quiet home with no other pets or children. She thrives in a peaceful environment with experienced cat owners who can understand that sometimes, when she’s scared or overstimulated, she can swipe or hiss and need a bit of space. Initially when she came into our care, her fearfulness meant we saw more of that behaviour to start with, but patience pays off – so if you’re ready to welcome a loving, loyal, and occasionally cheeky companion into your life, Storm is waiting to meet you.

Important note: Storm had a lump removed while in our care. She is otherwise healthy and so our vet has signed her off as ready for rehoming.
