Name: Max

Location: Berkshire Cat Centre

Max is a handsome ginger-and-white boy. Incredibly friendly and affectionate, he absolutely adores attention, and he’s not shy about asking for it. If you stop fussing him too soon, Max will gently tap you with his paw as if to say, “excuse me, I’m not finished yet!” He loves being the centre of attention. Playful and full of character, Max can often be found chasing after the mop during cleaning time. He also has a soft spot for catnip and enjoys perching proudly on top of his scratching post, waiting for someone to come over and shower him with affection. Max does have suspected atopic dermatitis, which means he can get itchy due to an environmental trigger, potentially something like pollen. This only affects the area between the toes on his front paws, which he sometimes nibbles! He’s on a short course of steroids for two weeks, after which he’ll be reassessed to see how he manages without them. In his previous home, Max didn’t feel comfortable around children or dogs, so he’s looking for a calm, adult-only household where he can be the only pet. He loves people doting on him and is a fantastic little companion.
