Name: Petunia

Location: Warrington Cat Centre

This gentle girl is Petunia! Petunia came into our care after her previous owner got a new cat which caused her to become unsettled. Petunia has found it difficult to adjust to life in care and was initially very reserved and fearful. One of our amazing volunteer foster carers has been taking care of her and working with her to improve her confidence. It has been so rewarding to work with her as she's doing better each day and we are so proud of her. She has been taking her time to come out of hiding and will probably always like to have some quiet spaces to hide and relax, so igloo beds, boxes and hideaways, etc. would be a great idea for her new home. She has been venturing out more and more and her confidence is growing every day! When she does, she is all purrs and cuddles! She is very affectionate and sweet when she is interacting and she will just need time to continue to build more and more confidence! Her new owners would have to be mindful of the fact that she may need more time, patience and TLC to help her settle and thrive in a new environment. Petunia does have a grade 2 heart murmur which we would be more than happy to discuss further with you. If you could be Petunia's second chance at happiness, please enquire below!
