Name: Maybe Sparrow

Location: North Yorkshire Cat Centre

Maybe Sparrow is a 10-month-old female cat who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly begin to thrive. She came into our care from a multi-cat household, where unfortunately her basic needs were not fully met. As a result, Sparrow is a nervous and sensitive young cat who is still learning that people can be kind and environments can feel safe. Since arriving, she has been gradually growing in confidence. Each day, staff and volunteers are seeing glimpses of her gentle and affectionate nature, but the cattery environment can only do so much. What she really needs is a patient adopter who will give her the time, space, and reassurance to build trust at her own pace. Sparrow would be best suited to a quiet home without other pets or children, where she can enjoy one-to-one attention and a predictable routine. Once she is fully settled, she will need access to the outdoors to explore and continue building her confidence. With the right person, Maybe Sparrow has so much potential to flourish into a loving and loyal companion.
