Name: Tarn

Location: North Yorkshire Cat Centre

Tarn is a 2-year-old tabby searching for a patient and understanding home where he can learn what it means to be part of a family Coming from a multi-cat household, Tarn has often had to fend for himself and has never really had the chance to enjoy the love, attention, and security that every cat deserves. Unsurprisingly, he is finding life a little overwhelming at the moment and can be quite shy and worried when faced with new situations. Tarn is an independent soul who likes to take things at his own pace, and he will need an owner who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to settle in and build trust. In return, you'll have the rewarding experience of watching him gradually blossom into a happier, more confident cat. He enjoys spending time outdoors, so would be ideally suited to a rural or semi-rural home where he can safely explore. Tarn has previously lived with dogs and could potentially share his new home with a calm, cat-friendly canine companion. Tarn is looking for an adult-only home, or one with sensible teenagers, where he can enjoy a quieter lifestyle and finally receive the TLC he's missed out on for so long. Could you be the person to give Tarn the fresh start he deserves?
