Robbie is searching for his forever home and a family of his own, after sadly spending some time as a stray. We are looking for a special home for Robbie, with someone with the patience to give him time to learn about living in a home with people after his time as a stray.

His finders became very fond of him, but sadly they were unable to keep him. But we know Robbie is grateful for them bringing him into our care so he could have his second chance.

Robbie is a friendly, confident boy who enjoys spending time with people but can be distracted by food and forget to interact with them. He has learnt to enjoy the pleasures of being a lap cat and enjoying a nice snooze on people's laps. The only issue now is persuading him to move off!

Robbie is a great fan of food, and is always first in the queue for breakfast, lunch, tea, supper and snacks! To slow down his eating we have introduced puzzle feeders, and Robbie has shown us how smart he is by mastering many different feeders to get his food. He's also perfected the art of the irresistible sad eyes that make you question whether he's been fed - don't let him fool you! Robbie does need to learn about boundaries with human food at home - we have a settling in plan for him to help his new owners with this.

Robbie can occasionally become overstimulated and may communicate this with gentle nips. Because of this, he will need a patient and understanding owner who is willing to take the time to learn his body language and recognise when he needs a little space. He also needs an owner who can help him understand that he has a stable home and doesn't need to worry about food.

Robbie is looking for a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue to build his confidence. With time, reassurance, and plenty of love, we're sure he'll blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Robbie spent some time in a family home with one of our dedicated foster carers, and settled into life in a home very quickly.

We feel Robbie would be best suited to a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. This will give him the best opportunity to relax and thrive.

Once Robbie has settled into his new home, he will need access to the outdoors so he can enjoy exploring and expressing his natural behaviours.
