Name: Dougie

Location: Leeds Cat Centre

Dougie loves it when people sit quietly with him in his pen — and it’s even better if you bring a few Dreamies! Once he feels safe, he’s happy to sit beside you while enjoying his treats.

Dougie enjoys gentle fuss and affection, often leaning his head into your hand as you stroke him. He truly loves companionship and simply being near his people.

Having previously spent time living outdoors, Dougie can be a little shy when meeting new people and may choose to hide at first. He’s looking for understanding home who will allow him to settle in at his own pace and build trust gradually.

After his settling-in period, he will need access to a garden or safe outdoor space to explore. Dougie would not be suitable to live with children.

Dougie would need to be the only pet in the home so he can enjoy all the attention for himself.
