Name: Rico

Location: Leeds Cat Centre

Rico is a beautiful, sweet boy with a magnificent long-haired tail that he is very proud of. He absolutely loves being groomed and finds it a wonderful way to bond. Rico is looking for a new home as his previous owner's circumstances changed, meaning they could no longer care for him. He is a curious but slightly shy fellow who isn't a fan of loud noises, so he is searching for a relaxed and quiet environment where he can feel safe.

While Rico might not be a typical lap cat, he is very companionable and loves to sit close by, once he has settled in. He enjoys receiving strokes and likes to spend his time playing with string toys. Rico needs to be the only cat in the home as he doesn't get along with other cats, and he isn't suited to living with babies or young children.

We are unsure how he may get along with children or dogs but he may be happy living with sensible older children who can respect his space, or a calm, quiet dog. He will just need a little extra patience and time to find his feet in his new surroundings.
