Meet Maverick, a strikingly handsome chap who is looking for a fresh start after his previous owner sadly passed away. He is a super friendly boy who thrives on human company. You will often find him rubbing against your legs or gently placing a paw on you to ask for a good fuss. He is a massive fan of head scratches and loves to spend his time sitting contentedly near your feet, making him a wonderful companion for a quiet afternoon.

When he isn’t relaxing, he has a playful spirit and particularly enjoys chasing after a string toy. He is also very motivated by treats, which is a great way to quickly make friends with him. Because he comes from a calm background, he is looking for a peaceful, adult-only home where he can feel secure and settled.

Maverick has lived with other cats before and should be fine to do so again. While we aren’t sure how he would react to a dog, he could potentially settle in with one if the introductions are handled slowly. If you have a quiet home and plenty of love to give, Maverick would be delighted to meet you.
