Name: Dove

Location: Tyneside Cat Centre

This is Dove. Dove came to us from a household where she didn't get the attention or socialisation she deserved or needed for her to be a cat who is well adjusted to humans. Dove is currently in foster care where we have realised, she is what we would call an “in-betweener cat” not feral but really not domesticated either. Because of this, Dove would be much happier in a more outdoor-focused home, where she can enjoy her independence and make her own choice as to whether she wants to socialise with humans. Who knows in time this may happen. A quiet setting would suit her perfectly, especially if it comes with a warm, dry space like a shed, barn, garage, or even a greenhouse where she can retreat during rainy or chilly days. Dove isn't very happy in care right now so if you think you might have the right type of home to offer her, please get in touch.
