Name: Pancake

Location: North West London Cat Centre

Pancake is a handsome ginger and white boy with a big personality and a very important message: he wants a home of his own! This affectionate boy loves fuss and attention, but like any true gentleman, he likes things on his terms. When he’s happy and comfortable, Pancake can be incredibly loving and enjoys being spoiled. He does, however, have his boundaries, and if he becomes overstimulated or feels confined, he may express this with a swipe or bite. His future family will need to understand his body language, respect his space and give him the freedom he needs to feel relaxed and in control.

Pancake has tested positive for FIV, which means he is looking for an indoor-only home to help keep him safe and healthy. As an ex-stray, Pancake is still learning that indoor life can be enjoyable, and he is adapting to his new surroundings every day. He is looking for experienced owners with no children or other pets who understand that Pancake is a character and can give him the patience, space and respect he needs. In return, they can help him thrive by providing plenty of enrichment, opportunities to play, climbing spaces, cosy resting spots and activities to keep his curious mind occupied, while allowing him to explore his environment at his own pace and make his own choices. In return, they’ll have a wonderfully affectionate boy to spoil like the prince he clearly believes himself to be! For the right experienced home, he could be a very special companion. All he needs is someone who understands that love sometimes means giving a cat the freedom to choose when and how they receive it, while supporting him as he discovers the comforts of indoor living.
