Name: Kitten - Sid

Location: Bedford & Biggleswade

Meet Sid, a gentle 5-month-old boy with a soft heart who is just waiting for someone to believe in him.

Born on a farm, the world can feel a little overwhelming for Sid right now. He can be nervous when he first meets you and may hiss, but it’s only because he’s unsure. With patience and kindness, he soon begins to relax and accept gentle fuss.

Sid isn’t ready for cuddles just yet and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, but with time, his confidence will grow. He loves having cosy hidey spots where he can feel safe. Once he settles, his playful side starts to shine through, and you’ll see the sweet, curious kitten he truly is.

Sid is looking for a calm, understanding home with older or teenage children. He could live with another friendly cat or a calm, cat-friendly dog with slow introductions. A quiet location away from busy roads and railways is essential.

Sid is neutered, microchipped, and has had his first vaccination. If adopted before his second, he will need to return to Happy Cat in Biggleswade, with the cost covered by Cats Protection.

Sid doesn’t need perfection - just patience, love, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to blossom into a wonderful companion.

A safe, secure, quiet room to start off in would be ideal for Sid. A room where he can have a separate area for food and water. For a litter tray placed as far away as possible from his food and water. For somewhere to hide, access to a high spot where he can view his surroundings, a suitable place to sleep or, ideally, a choice of them, a scratching post and a few cat toys and space for him to play. We would recommend a Feliway Optimum diffuser in his room, as he will likely hide away for a few days when he goes to his new home.
