Name: Belle

Location: Swansea

What a sad story these three could tell you. They were rescued from a house some time ago along with other cats where their owner had sadly died, but no one knew for some weeks. They were left to fend for themselves and hadn’t had the best of care for some time it seemed. Poor little souls. But slowly and surely through swift and thorough vet treatment and good care from us, they’ve come along in leaps and bounds. Barti, Belle and Marie are ready for a new life where they’ll be adored and well cared for. But sadly they’ve not come out of this distressing situation unscathed.
Dear little Barti has had an eye removed and has long-term residual sniffles as a consequence of untreated cat flu. But he’s a real trooper and copes really well. He’s such a loving and friendly little chap, so very affectionate. Barti has medication to help with the sniffles which his owner would simply need to sprinkle daily on his food. He gets on really well with Belle and Marie, but we think could happily be homed by himself and become the centre of someone’s world. What a wonderful thought for this dear little cat.
Marie has been more fortunate and doesn’t appear to have any long-lasting health problems. She’s now put on weight and her fur is soft as silk. Marie has grown in confidence too and enjoys fuss a attention. She’d happily be homed with Barti or Belle, or ideally all three together!
Belle has sadly suffered most of all from the neglect and difficult circumstances and has had an eye removed and little vision left in the remaining one. This little cat would need an extra special new home and be kept safe as an indoor cat or with supervised restricted access to a secure garden. And more sadly Belle has a life-limiting illness, which means the time she has left is precious and we hope an adopter comes along very, very soon. We will of course offer support, advice and guidance for an adopter and cover any vet expenses for her care as needed. But actually at the moment all she needs is love and comfort and to know she can live out her days in a home of her own. She’d be happier having the extra comfort of Marie and/or Barti with her too. We know there’s a special person for her out there…but please come soon.

Due to the amount of applications we receive for each cat we are sorry, but we are unable to respond to unsuccessful applicants. Please note we do not home cats on busy roads where the cat has easy access to the road.
