Our shop in Hythe High Street, has a great community feel to it and our staff are very welcoming and friendly, and always happy to have a chat. We often have people just pop in for a general chat or to talk about their cats.
We are situated at the Eastern end of Hythe High Street - closest to Waitrose. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.00 to 5.00 pm and we can sell anything that is donated including electrical items.
We sell nearly new, men’s, ladies and children’s clothing and accessories; shoes; handbags; scarves; toys and all sorts of household items, (we do not take duvets or pillows) as well as a large selection of books, CD’s, DVD’s and vinyl records which are very popular.
We have lots of bric-a-brac and glassware, and with some nice jewellery and watches too, it really is well worth a browse.
Donations are very much welcomed, all we ask is that you present them to us in a clean saleable condition and if you have a large quantity, please call beforehand to check we have room 0130 326 4285.
We are always seeking volunteers to help at the shop and no previous experience is necessary as training is given and the work is very easy. There are various jobs including sorting and steaming clothes, washing bric-a-brac and pricing goods ready for sale as well as serving customers in the shop. We would always welcome any help, however little, and if you feel you could offer a hand and want to join our friendly team then contact the Duty Manager on 0130 326 4285 or if you’re passing why not just pop in for a chat, we’d love to meet you.
