Volunteering for the Forfar & District Branch can be very rewarding. We are extremely happy to welcome new volunteers for all aspects of branch work, whether hands on with the cats, fundraising, fostering or other activities. We are desperately needing:-

Fundraising Events Organiser

We are looking for someone who will be able to organise our fundraising events.  For information, please contact Marie on 01307 708344

Fundraisers are an absolutely vital part of our work as we try to raise funds to help all the cats and kittens in need in our area.  We need people with fundraising skills, good ideas for fundraising events and to help out with car boot sales, coffee mornings, quiz nights, bingo nights, can collections etc and come up with other activities which we may not have thought of yet!  That’s where you come in!  It may only be an hour or a couple of hours you give to help at a fundraising event, but those one or two hours could us help to raise more money for our furry friends, who so desperately need our help. If you would like to volunteer in fundraising, please contact Marie on 01307 708344 or email forfarcp@gmail.com

Fosterers are an absolutely vital part of our work and the more fosterers we have, the more cats and kittens we can help.  All you require to be a fosterer is a spare room in your home or space for a custom built pen in your garden/outside space, time to commit to the needs of the cat, an understanding of Cats Protection standards, your own transport (mileage allowance payable) and to live in the Angus area.   This is a very rewarding role as it is wonderful to see a cat or kitten you have fostered go off to its new forever home.  And it is fun!  If you are interested in becoming a fosterer, please call Marie on 01307 708344 or email forfarcp@gmail.com. Training and support will be given.
