Fram & Sax News - January 2021

01 January 2021
Fram & Sax News - January 2021 Fristly, best wishes to everyone for a safe and calmer New Year.

Fram & Sax CP was hoping to celebrate the 30th year of the branch during 2020; sadly our festivities were curtailed. Happily, adoptions of cats and kittens in our care was very successful once we were allowed to resume homing again. We had to adapt to a different way of homing the cats, via the ‘hands-free’ method. Potential adopters were unable to meet the cats before decisions were made. However, this did not prove too much of an obstacle and together with pictures and videos and discussions with fosterers we ensured that everyone was given the opportunity to make the right choices, for them and the felines.

What will 2021 bring for us all? We very much hope to resume our fundraising events and look ard to meeting our supporters once again. In the meantime, perhaps you would like to join our membership list. Membership of the branch costs just £10 per year and is a way of keeping up-to-date with what we do via the quarterly, full-colour newsletter. The newsletter also contains stories about cats which have been adopted; interesting cat-related articles; cat health; puzzles and lots more. Membership also contributes to our funds. To join simply email membership@framandsax.cats.org.uk or see here to download an application form.

Looking for a home: Maple and Laurel are mother and daughter and would like to live an ‘outdoor’ life with food and a comfortable shed or barn in which to live. Mum Maple is tabby, approx 18 months old and does not like to be handled. However, Laurel who is black and white and approx seven months old can be stroked although she is very shy. She also likes a game and loves being with her mum. They have been neutered and are ready to go to a safe outdoor home; somewhere secure where they can be enclosed initially will be needed while they get used to their new surroundings. Can you offer this lovely pair a suitable home? Call us to find out more about them or see their adoption page to send a request: https://www.cats.org.uk/framandsax/adopt-a-cat?cid=259597
