Neutering vouchers

The Glastonbury and Wells Branch Neutering Campaign has now ended.

Neutering vouchers are now available to cat owners on low income through a new scheme launched by Cats Protection Head Office.

It is called the Subsidised Neutering Scheme and whilst it is still in the early stages, most of the vets in the Glastonbury and Wells catchment area have signed up to participate in the scheme.

Cat owners who are eligible must now request vouchers directly from the veterinary practices who are participating. You will need to check with your preferred vet if they are part of the scheme.

In most cases the owner will pay £10 per cat and the charity will pay the balance and microchip for free. The scheme will run all of the time, no cut off dates.

Your local branch is on hand to give advice if needed but not to issue vouchers.

Please contact Gill or Nikita if you encounter problems or need advice.
