Penny's story

04 May 2017
Penny
Penny is a lovely 2 year old tortie and white female who came in as a stray from the Duffryn area of Newport with cat flu. Despite all efforts by her fosterer and vets she lost an eye and sadly, less than 2 weeks later, vets were forced to remove her second eye.  We were all devastated, but Penny adapted really quickly and within days was even jumping up on the sofa in her fosterers foster room and was able to find her food and litter tray immediately too. After having her vaccinations, Penny was transferred to our Mitcham Homing Centre and within a few weeks had been homed as an indoor only cat.
