Adopt a cat
!!MORE CATS SOON!! WE HAVE SEVERAL NEW BOYS AND GIRLS WHO ARE SETTLING IN AND AWAITING THEIR VET CHECKS/NEUTERING/VACCINATIONS.....
Our cats for adoption are listed
- see below, but please contact us for the latest situation as we can't always keep the site bang up-to-date, especially with kittens.Do consider homing an older cat
- we usually have fit and healthy adults who come into our care for all sorts of reasons. Often they are overlooked in favour of the cute kittens, but they make excellent companions and deserve a chance too. If you adopt from us, you can be confident
that your cat or kitten has been given the best care in accordance with the national standards of Britain's leading cat welfare charity. Our cats are accommodated at the homes of our volunteer fosterers in spacious cattery-style cat cabins with outdoor runs. They are all vet-checked, deflea'd/dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered/spayed if old enough (for kittens a voucher for neutering at one of our vets is provided), and come with four weeks' free insurance from PetPlan. Before you adopt, we will arrange a home visit
by one of our Branch volunteers to ensure you are happy with the commitment you are making and to check we have matched the cat's personality and background to the home environment. If you take on a kitten you must agree to have him/her neutered or spayed when old enough. There is more about having a home visit here
.We ask adopters for a fee when rehoming a cat
. This partly covers the cost of looking after the cats in our care; if you would like to make a donation on top of the adoption fee that of course would be gratefully received! We know times are hard, so thank you for adopting a CP cat. We will discuss the fee with you when you enquire about adoption or when you have your home visit.
Some of the cats in our care may not yet be on our website. If you are looking for a feline companion, please contact us on 0333 200 1484
