Adopt a cat

We have new cats arriving every day, so even if you don’t see a cat that you think would suit you, please get in touch. We can take your details and notify you when we have the perfect cat for you – it won't be long. We also provide four weeks of free pet insurance, neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping as well as worming and flea treatment for all of our cats.

Cats Protection asks adopters for an adoption fee when rehoming a cat, but if you feel able to make a donation on top of this, it is always very gratefully received.

Before starting the process of adopting one of our cats, please take a few minutes to consider the following:

  • You could be committing to your new cat for up to 20 years. Can you offer continued care and stability?
  • Veterinary fees can be expensive, and you should expect to visit the vet at least once a year for a health check and vaccinations. Other preventative healthcare measures include flea and worming treatments (usually every month and every three months respectively). Pet insurance will help cover the cost of any major illness or emergency treatment
You can find the cats currently in our care looking for new a home below. If you are interested in offering a home to one of our cats, please complete the online form within the cat's profile, email adoption@horsham.cats.org.uk, or call 07805 654881.
