About the tutor
Born and brought up in Newcastle upon Tyne, Naomi was obsessed with drawing and fashion from an early age.
She went on to study Fashion Promotion and Illustration at the University of Creative Arts in Epsom and Fashion Marketing at Northumbria University before embarking on a career as a men’s and boys' sportswear designer for well-known brands such as Reebok, Hi-Tec, Lonsdale, Marks & Spencer and Umbro.
Naomi has worked as a course leader/lecturer in fashion on the Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles at Cleveland College of Art and Design and is currently Senior Lecturer in Fashion Promotion at Sunderland University, where she continues to pass on her love of illustration and fashion design and marketing.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop start time.
If you are travelling by car, there is limited parking available at the Tyneside Adoption Centre. Please note that there is a Christmas Fair taking place on the same day so it is anticipated to be busy.
It is recommended that you wear suitable clothes for crafting or bring an apron as protective clothing will not be provided.
You will not receive a printed ticket so please retain your confirmation email.
Only individuals who have pre-registered will be able to attend the workshop due to limited capacity.
