In memory of Jasmine

Jasmine was beautiful in every way. We got Jasmine from the local Cats Protection and she was estimated to be around 3 years of age. Her previous owner had to go into a home. We picked her up from her Foster home on a cold December night in 2010, she was sitting on a hot water bottle in a garden shed. We were overjoyed to have her. She was very special and very intelligent and loved so very much by all four of us. She fitted into our family perfectly. 4 years ago we moved house. We moved to the country.... Jasmine adapted very well and soon settled into her new surroundings. She was a fantastic mouser and was constantly bringing us rewards. Earlier this year during lock down she developed a sore mouth and bleeding. We took her to the vets twice. The vet thought she had gingivitis and prescribed antibiotics, but a few weeks later I noticed a lump on her tongue. A second visit to the vet revealed she had oral cancer and the vet prescribed steroids and said nothing more could be done. She deteriorated over the next three weeks. She followed me everywhere during lock down. She came to meet you when you had been out. She was my little shadow. She was quiet, kind, affectionate and lovable and we all miss her incredibly. Our house is empty without her and we all feel incredibly raw. Saying goodbye to Jasmine was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. We love you and miss you baby girl. 20.12.10 date we had her - 03.07.20
