Newcastle cat is cover star for Cats Protection 2018 calendar

07 January 2018
Newcastle cat is cover star for Cats Protection 2018 calendar A ginger moggy called Jarvis is the cover star for Cats Protection’s 2018 calendar, which showcases cats adopted through the charity’s UK-wide adoption centres and volunteer-run branches.

Two-year-old Jarvis, who was known as the naughtiest in the litter, was rehomed by Zoe Thompson via Cats Protection’s Gateshead & Newcastle Branch.

Zoe says: “We’ve always had a soft spot for gingers, but as soon as we met Jarvis we knew he was the one. Within days of moving in, there wasn’t anywhere he hadn’t explored. He’s got a reputation with family and friends as ‘the small cat with the big personality.’”

Jarvis has certainly settled in well to his new home too. As Zoe says: “He’s loving too. Sometimes he sneaks into our bedroom at about 3am and squeezes in-between us, purring his socks off. He’s such a handsome cat with an unbelievable character and the biggest spirit ever.”

Cats Protection’s calendar for 2018 is available to buy from any Cats Protection charity shops, as well as online at http://bit.ly/CatCalendarShop.

The calendar helps raise much-needed funds for all the cats and kittens in the charity’s care who are looking for new homes.
