Campaign against kitten smuggling!
The government has just announced new rules to prevent pet smuggling, but the measures don’t currently cover cats and kittens. These new rules will make life harder for puppy smugglers, but cats and kittens urgently need the same protection – or smugglers may switch their focus to cats.
With the government seeking views on pet travel, the Cats Protection Advocacy team has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of this risk, while asking people to submit their views to the government by email.
