Roman Way, Shenley Wood and Winslow
01 December 2019
Our fundraisers have had a busy few days with stalls at a garden centre, a retirement village, a primary school and a farmers' market.
It was cold on Thursday at the Roman Way Garden Centre but warm socks helped. People came to buy and tell us about the cats they had adopted from us.
There were two events on Saturday, nice and snug inside.
At Shenley Wood Retirement Village there were some dogs for Jean to say hello to - including a medical detection dog. The best sellers were mugs and and sand cats.
Preparing to erect the gazebo at Winslow Primary School Christmas Fayre, our fundraisers had to adapt quickly to being in the school hall. The Teddy Tombola was its own table and proved to be a big hit.
The farmers' market was outside and quite chilly but the stall was festive and busy.
In total the events raised nearly £765.
