Attention to ALL Pet Lovers - we have the most amazing opportunity for you to bid and win a fabulous personalised portrait of your own pet!

Many of our Cats Protection supporters will remember the sad loss of our very own Jean Derbyshire, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year. I am sure you will all agree Jean played such a significant role in fundraising and supporting our MK & District Cats Protection branch, so this is a thoughtful opportunity for you and your friends/family to help us raise funds for all of our cats, in Jean's loving memory.

With thanks to a dear friend of Jean, a local artist Sue Clark has donated to Cats Protection a personalised watercolour portrait of your pet (cats, dogs, rabbit etc.). Sue established a talent for watercolours during lockdown and is so pleased to be able to help us raise funds in Jean's memory. Sue had promised Jean that she would complete a portrait of one of Jean's cats, but unfortunately, due to Jean's passing, the opportunity never arose. So this is a lovely tribute; thank you so much Sue!

The winning bidder will be required to provide a variety of photos, and the finished portrait will be framed ready for your wall! We would like to present the portrait to you, which will include photos for publicity purposes. We are now very excited to announce that this silent auction for your very own Pet Portrait is NOW OPEN!

To make a bid, all you need to do is email secretary@miltonkeynes.cats.org.uk with your bid. Bids will only be accepted via email, thank you.

The silent auction will close at 5pm on Sunday 29th May 2022. We would be really grateful if you could share this exciting opportunity with your friends, family, schools & work colleagues so we can maximise this great opportunity, all in Jean's memory.
