Volunteering Vacancies

Homing Officer needed:

The branch is looking for a homing officer for adult cats
. This is a key volunteer post within branch which is unpaid and would involve working from home as part of a team. The applicant must be IT literate and confident with data input. They should have a good telephone manner and enjoy speaking to members of the public. Would suit a retired person.

Helpline Volunteer needed:

The Helpline are currently looking to recruit a Volunteer to help with cover Tuesday. You would need access to a computer and also be able to dial into a number to retrieve any telephone messages left by the Public, approximately 3/4 times a day. Ideally, first thing lunch time and at the end of the day, all which can be done from the comfort of your own home. If enough information has been left in the message this would only then require being forwarded onto the relevant Officer via email. If the caller requires a call back to ascertain why they are calling, i.e., wishing to adopt a cat, neutering vouchers, reporting a lost or stray cat, details can be taken then forwarded on also via email. A manual is provided, entailing all the information that would need to be asked for each category.
