Kittens for Adoption

Are you looking to adopt a kitten?

Kittens come to us from various sources and need, as do all young animals, additional care to that given to older cats.  For example, they need to be given kitten food as opposed to the general adult cat food.  Kitten food is available from all major supermarkets and can be found in the pet food aisles along with the adult varieties.  They also need stimulation in the form of play with cat toys, cardboard box hideaways, tubes and tunnels and of course lots of interaction with you.  If you and your family are out all day, we would prefer you to adopt a pair of kittens as they will be company for each other.  Also, when adopting a kitten from Cats Protection, you must agree to get the kitten neutered at between the age of 4 to 6 months old.

If you think you could give a loving home to a kitten or two and live within our catchment area in North Hertfordshire, then get in touch by calling 01438 228877, or by using the form via this link: Contact us. Please be sure to read our adoption procedure before you call.

You may also want to look at our Adopt a Cat section, where you will find the adult cats in our care - they take longer to find a home than kittens, and are waiting to find their forever home - you might just fall in love with one of them!

If you have any questions, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you!
