Rehoming Success Story: Larry & Charlie - Dec 2021

Larry (formely Gary) and Charlie were in the care of North Herts Cats Protection and we homed them to their forever loving home. Rachel and Dave, their adopters, have been in touch to let us know how well they're settling in:

"We adopted Larry and Charlie in November 2021 and it was the best decision we could have made. We both grew up with cats but had not been through the adoption process before so it was completely new to us. We met Larry and Charlie at a cattery nearby and fell in love instantly. Larry was definitely the more bold and confident brother with Charlie hiding in his tunnel and not wanting any attention. 

The process of adoption was so easy and Paula was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the whole thing. Once we collected Larry and Charlie, they seemed to settle in our house very quickly. Charlie was a little more nervous and would be hesitant about being stroked at the start, and Larry just wanted all the cuddles! 

2 months in and they are completely happy in our home. They snuggle up together and Charlie is completely loving being stroked and being fussed now. We are yet to let them outside but they seem very keen to explore the outside world when they look at all the birds in the trees through the windows. 

We would highly recommend adopting through Cats Protection. We personally found all the support we needed through Paula and the website which made the experience really enjoyable."
