Rescuing and looking after cats costs a lot! We need to raise at least £60,000 a year to cover the cost of caring for and rehoming hundreds of cats and kittens in the Oxfordshire area. This represents very good value when you take into account the costs of accommodation, food, litter, heating, laundry, veterinary care, printing, postage and telephone bills - but it all costs approximately £1,250 a week.

Our administration costs are kept to a minimum. None of our volunteers is paid for their help. All the money we raise is used directly to help cats and kittens in need.

We depend on public generosity for our finances and welcome any donations, either of money or of food added to our collection bins in supermarkets. Every hundred tins frees £40 for vets’ bills, giving another cat a new start in life.

Most of our money comes from individual donations, including legacies, fund-raising activities and the contributions made by new cat owners.
