Paul was rescued by a kind-hearted member of the public who found him cowering among rubbish on some waste ground in Belfast city centre during a very cold snap. On the day Paul arrived into the Belfast Adoption Centre he was emaciated, hypothermic, absolutely filthy with dirt and engine oil, soaked through, infested with fleas and had a distended belly full of worms. He was in a very sorry state.

The Belfast Adoption Centre Cat Care Assistants bathed Paul, warmed him up in a kitten incubator, painstakingly combed all of the live fleas out of his coat, administered flea and worm treatment and gave him a much needed feed. After only a few days the difference was amazing.

Paul is now a much happier little kitten who surely wouldn’t still be alive if it wasn’t for the actions of his empathetic rescuer and kind cat lovers like you. You make it possible for us to be there for cats and kittens like Paul when they need us. Thank you.
